Louise Wall made the bold decision to become Axminster Property’s first Trinity House tenant when she relocated (and rebranded) her ladies fashion store in June 2020. She had operated for 14 years in a neighbouring street and was keen to move to a more central Axminster location offering a bigger potential footfall.
With key work to the wider fabric underway, Axminster Property designed a high quality retail environment into a part of Trinity House that dates back some 200 years.
Big, bold windows gave Louise a high profile presence in one of the town’s most prominent places, while elegant blinds on the curved frontage helped to revive a street scene from the 1940s. An accessible ramp is a key internal facility, together with a changing room and kitchen / storage area.
The customer’s verdict
“It is a superb shop and my customers absolutely love it,” says Louise.
“I knew that I needed a much more visible location in the heart of the town and that is exactly what I have been able to achieve thanks to Axminster Property. They planned it closely with me and worked with me at every stage. The service was first class service – nothing was too much trouble.”
